Answers to the questions we hear most often.
What are your products intended for?
All ComfortLore products are sold strictly for laboratory and research purposes only (RUO). They are not intended for human or animal consumption, medical use, diagnostic application, or any therapeutic purpose. Our products are supplied to qualified researchers, institutions, and laboratories engaged in scientific work.
How is product purity verified?
Every batch is independently tested by third-party analytical laboratories using HPLC and mass spectrometry to confirm identity, purity, and concentration. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) is included with each order and reflects the actual batch tested.
Do you provide a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?
Yes. A current, batch-specific COA is included with every order. COAs document peptide identity, purity percentage, mass spectrometry results, and the testing laboratory's accreditation. If you need a COA before purchase, contact our support team and we can provide it upon request.
How are your products stored and shipped?
All lyophilized peptides are stored under controlled conditions in temperature-monitored facilities. Orders ship in insulated packaging to maintain stability during transit. After receiving, products should be kept refrigerated and, after reconstitution, frozen for long-term storage as indicated on the label.
How long does shipping take?
Domestic orders typically ship same-day if placed before 2 PM local time and arrive within 2-5 business days via tracked courier. International shipping availability and times vary by destination — see our shipping policy page for current rates and timelines.
Are these products FDA approved?
No. The compounds we supply are research-grade materials and are not approved by the FDA or any regulatory authority for human or veterinary use. They are sold exclusively for in vitro research, laboratory experimentation, and analytical reference purposes. Any other use is outside the scope of our intended product application.
What is the shelf life of your peptides?
Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides stored at -20°C or below typically maintain stability for 24 months from the manufacturing date. Once reconstituted, peptides should be used within 2-4 weeks if kept refrigerated, or up to 3 months if kept frozen. Specific storage guidance for each compound is included with the COA.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards through our secure payment processor. We also support cryptocurrency payments for added flexibility. All transactions are processed over encrypted, PCI-compliant connections. Card statements appear under a discreet billing descriptor.
What is your return and refund policy?
Due to the nature of research-grade biochemical products and to maintain integrity of supply, we cannot accept returns of opened or unsealed items. If your order arrives damaged, missing items, or with quality issues, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or refund. See our full policy page for complete details.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship to most countries where research-grade peptide importation is permitted. International customers are responsible for understanding and complying with their country's regulations regarding import of research chemicals. We cannot ship to jurisdictions where these products are restricted. Contact us if you have questions about a specific destination.
How are peptides reconstituted for laboratory use?
Reconstitution protocols depend on the specific peptide and its solubility characteristics. Most lyophilized peptides are reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, sterile water for injection, or 0.9% sodium chloride as appropriate for the research application. Always reference current scientific literature and your laboratory's standard operating procedures for accurate reconstitution methodology.
